"It has taken us a little longer than anticipated, however, Amigos is thrilled to see God leading us in to a new adventure in our efforts to help children around the world" -AMIGOS 3rd Quarter News Letter 2021
In an effort to help the orphaned children of Uganda, AMIGOS launched what is called "Amigos Unique Children's Services". This service was launched in an effort to seek out and rescue children that are being exploited sexually, emotionally, and physically, providing them with a safe place to live, grow and be the "best they can be" as they strive to reach adulthood.
Amigos first project near the town of Jinja, approximately 30 miles east of Kampala, Uganda, has given 28 children, most of whom have been pulled from unhealthy situations involving the sex trade, a safe place to live. They are now in the process of purchasing a large plot of land where they are beginning to build a completely secure building that will house 100+ orphans.
Amigos needs your help to sponsor these children, giving them a chance to receive education, food, clothes, and more. By sponsoring "adopting" a child you will have an opportunity to communicate with your sponsored child and in return your "child" will respond back to you.
Fortunate Agenorwot, one of the many children who have been blessed through your sponsorship and the support and hard work of Amigos.
"We need your help! "Give today and make a difference in our world".
