Position: Worship Leader
Part-time Frost Baptist Church Frostbaptist.com Contact: Pastor Jason L Wilder [email protected] Frost Baptist Church is praying for a person to lead our congregation in worship on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. We are mostly contemporary using a praise team which includes a band. This person will also help the pastor with leadership to coordinate during holidays, weddings, funerals, and other special events. Job Description: Position: Worship Leader Part-time Reports to: Sr. Pastor Duties: Lead in worship through music with the praise team (singers and band) Lead weekly practices for the praise team Administer and work with the sound and A/V team Help the pastor by giving worship and music leadership and coordination during holidays, weddings, funerals, and other special events. Required: Growing Christian who lives above reproach in his or her daily life Approachable leader for the praise team and the congregation as a whole Active part of the church staff and ministry team Preferred: Musical instrument abilities Able to find and adapt music to the teams’ strengths and abilities Tech skills and knowledge with a sound system |
