A Love Relationship

Longing After God

A redeemed heart longs after God. It is in this love relationship that we can draw near to him. When we come to him and draw near, he will draw near to us (James 4:8). Take a few minutes today and just sit quietly at the foot of the cross. Be still and know that he is God.(Psalms 46;10). Soak in his goodness and mercy.


Lord, thank you for the moments when I spend time with you in peace. You bring peace to my heart and comfort to my soul. Thank you for drawing near to me when I am willing to lay down at the foot of the cross all that entangles me. You take it and give me yourself and bring rest to my soul. May I be pleasing in your sight today Lord. Thank you for loving me and sending your Son to die on the cross so that I may have life. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
