The Purifying Solution of God's Word

The psalmist said, "Blessed is the man who walks not in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers, but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night" (Palms 1:1-2) It is not enough just to study the Bible. We must meditate upon it. In a very real sense we are washing our minds in the purifying solution of God's word. 

​This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success (Joshua 1:8).

Lord, I come to You with a humbled heart. I come to You with praise on my lips. May this Book of the Law not depart from my mouth. May I ever keep it and meditate on it day and night so that I may be careful to do according to what is written in it. May I desire it more than silver and gold. May it be more precious to me than anything the world may offer. It is in Jesus name I pray, amen.
