Called by His Name

If My people...

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

God said, "If my people." He is calling the church to humble themselves, turn, and seek his face, Why? Because we are His hands and feet in an ever growing dark world. As followers of Christ we live our lives Coram Deo (Latin phrase meaning, living before the face of God.) You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. ( Matthew 5:14-16)
