Chosen and Loved

He Goes Before Us!

The Lord your God who goes before you will himself fight for you, Just as he did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness, where you have seen how the LORD your God carried you, as a man carries his son, all the way that you went until you came to this place (Deuteronomy 1: 30-31).

Our identity as children of God motivates our love for God. He chooses us, fights for us, cares for us, and loves us. How can we but not love the One who chooses to love us so perfectly. What a wondrous thing to  be adopted into the family of God. 

Lord, I come to you with a humble heart. May You forgive me where I have sinned and fallen short of your glory. When I think about the way you love us my heart is overwhelmed with pure joy. You will fight for us. You go before us. You carry us. There is nothing that can separate us from Your love. Thank you for Jesus Christ my LORD and my Savior who has taken away the sins of the world for those who believe You are the Son of God. May all those whom have not responded to Your call on their life do so today while it is still today. Tomorrow is not promised. It is in the precious name of Jesus Christ I pray, amen.
