Making the Gospel Our Ambition

Paul made it his ambition to preach the gospel, not where it had already been named, but to all people (Romans 15:20). His goal was to reach those who had never heard the good news of Jesus Christ before. Thus, giving us an example of a New Testament evangelist (Ephesians 4:11). Christ is the only hope to the world! It is up to those who believe in him to carry out our mission as believers and spread the "Good News" of Jesus Christ. Why should we do this? So that, "Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand." (Romans 15:21).  

LORD, thank you for Your Words of hope. May we be your hands and feet bringing light to those around us so that we may tell of you. You are the only hope for a sinful dying world. May we stand firm in and on your word sharing the gospel wherever we go. In Jesus precious name I pray. Amen,
