Eternally Secure

The Good Shepherd

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand (John 10:27-28). What a comfort it is to know that we are secure because Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd.  He alone has the power to keep you and I safe. Jesus stands between that which tries to harm us for no one can steal from God. He is in sovereign control of all things. Therefore, we have absolute eternal security for every true Christian.

Lord, I pray that my prayer of praise to you is pleasing to your ears today. May it be a sweet smell to your nostrils. May it lift to the heaven in praise to God the Father. Forgive me when I sin and fall short of your glory. I give thanks to You my Father for giving me eternal life through Jesus Christ. You alone are the Good Shepherd who watches over His sheep. May we continually, night and day, and day and night lift our praises to you alone. O that I should not sin against you is my heart's desire. Praise God, praise Jesus, Praise the Holy Spirit for you are one. O give praise to God alone O my soul. Give praise to God. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
