Jesus Christ is the Exact Imprint of God and New Covenant

Hebrews 1:3 tells us that Jesus Christ is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature. The Son of God is the perfect imprint, the exact representation of the nature and essence of God. It is the Son that upholds the universe and everything in it by his powerful and effective word. (Colossians 1:17) And it is he who after making purification for sins, who sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. (Hebrew 1:3) Jesus Christ sits on the seat of the throne of God where he rules as sovereign Lord. He, he is our victorious Savior. 

Therefore, it is Jesus who is the mediator of a new covenant. (Hebrews 9:15) And it is because of Jesus that we have the promise of eternal inheritance by his blood that was shed on the cross for our transgressions. Jesus was the ultimate sacrificial lamb who would be offered up as a redemption to redeem his children. "So Christ having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him." (Hebrews 9:28) Are you eagerly waiting for his return or are you in dread of his return?
