The Plans of His Heart

The counsel of the LORD stands forever; the plans of his heart to all generations (Psalm 33:11). The plans of his heart. Step back and let that resonate in your hearts for a moment. Such words stir the heart with overwhelming joy. The creator of the universe and everything in it, from his heart planed for every part of our lives for us. He through his sovereign plan and by his word has shown us how to live in every situation.  For he knows the plans for us. Jeremiah 29:11-13 is a well known Bible verse, if you are familiar with Scripture. It states; For I know the plans I have for you, declares the lORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.

His heart is for us to seek him in all of our ways. For in seeking Him, he will make our paths straight (Proverbs 3:6).

Lord, I come to you with a humble heart and ask that you forgive me when I sin and fall short of your glory. My heart is overwhelmed by your grace poured out on me. It is your word that makes my soul shout with joy because of your great love for us. From your heart to all generations you have made plans to lovingly care for us. Thank you for Jesus Christ who took my place on the cross and carried my sin with great agony on his own flesh. For the sins of the whole world you carried. May we fall on our knees in reverence and magnify your name. "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!" In Jesus precious name I pray, amen.
