Generosity

When We Give Freely

Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered (Proverbs 11:25 ESV). In other words, a generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed (NIV). 

The one who gives receives more in return. Give a portion and when you have need it will be met in return.

LORD thank you for your words of truth. I come before you with a humble heart and ask that you forgive me where I have sinned and fallen short of your glory. May all that I do point to Jesus Christ my LORD and my Savior. It is because of you that I know how to give with a free heart. For I have been given so much. Thank you for the free gift of life eternally with you. You offer salvation to whomever will acknowledge you as their LORD and Savior.  And there is nothing that can snatch us from your hand. May we learn from your word how to live with others as you would have us to live. May we be pleasing to you today in all that we do. May our prayer be a pleasing aroma and sweet sound to you. May those whom you are calling open their heart to the sound of your voice that tugs so softly and sweetly. May they come to you and ask for forgiveness of sin in their life. For we are all sinners in need of forgiveness. It is in Jesus precious name I pray, amen
