God of All Grace

He Himself Will Restore You

Scripture sometimes jumps right off of the pages of the Holy Bible and fills my very soul with overwhelming joy. Overwhelming Joy because Scriptures such as 1 Peter 5:10. It states; God himself will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. For after we have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ will do this.

The God of all grace, just think about that, the One that has called us to eternal glory in Christ, will himself give strength through the Christians struggles. Why? to bring strength of character. To grow in Christ to effective maturity. Let this give peace to our hearts today as we walk this life that has been given to us by the God of all grace. Let us live with the understanding that God's purposes in the future require some pain in the present. While the believer is being personally attacked by the enemy, he is being personally perfected by the Lord.

Lord, I come to you with a humble heart. Oh, how I want to be pleasing to you in all that I do. Forgive me for when I sin and fall short of your glory. Thank you for restoring me, confirming me, strengthening me, and establishing me. It is for Christ alone that your grace has been poured out on me. May the sound of my voice as I lift my requests in prayer be pleasing to you this day. My heart is overwhelmed by your goodness and mercy. May all that you have called hear your voice this day for tomorrow is not promised. May they open their eyes to see and their hearts to a personal relationship with you. For it is by grace we are saved through faith. It is a gift of God. Thank you for Jesus Christ who has taken away the sins of the world. it is in the precious name of Jesus I pray, amen.
