Be Still and Know

Psalm 46:10a states to Be still, and know that I am God. No matter the circumstance we are facing today, whether on the mountain top or in the deepest valley, we should alway remember that God is sovereign. He rules as our victorious King-Warrior and Sovereign King-Governor. He is our fortress, refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (vv1-2). 

Lord, I come to you with a humble heart. I come to you seeking forgiveness of my sin. May our prayer be a pleasing sound to you as we lift our voice in worship this day. May all those around me whether family, friend, or stranger be still and know that you are God. You are sovereign and rule as our victorious King-Warrior and King-Governor. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I pray for those around me who are dealing with life's hard challenges. I pray for strength to endure. I pray for peace and comfort. You are standing at the door knocking asking to come in. To come in and be Savior and Lord of our lives. To come in and have a personal relationship with us. Oh, how my heart longs for those around me to be still and know that you are God.  It is by Your stripes we are healed and have eternal life. May all that you have called listen to your voice while we still have today. It is in Jesus precious name I pray, amen.
