When the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life (Titus 3:4-7).
He saved us not because of our works done in righteousness, but according to his own mercy. When we are saved, Christ's Spirit blesses us beyond measure. We have been washed and renewed by the Holy Spirit. For those who have made Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of their lives we are know justified and have the eternal promise of becoming heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Lord, I come to you with a humble heart. Thank you for seeking us. Thank you for your mercy and grace poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ. Thank you for saving us from our sin and eternal separation from You. We give thanks for the wisdom you give to us to live a life pleasing to you. Forgive us when we sin and fall short of your glory. May our eyes be ever on you so that we do not lose hope in running the race. May our prayers be pleasing to you. It is in Jesus precious name I pray, amen.
