His Return

Why do you stand here?

And while they were gazing into heaven as he went behold, two men stood by them in white robes, and said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven." (Acts 1:10-11).

Why are we standing here? Why are we not living as though we believe His return is as faithful and true as the Scriptures? Do you believe He will return just as He has said? He will return to take his Children home with him. It is a promise.

Lord, I come to with a humble heart. Thank you for giving us a promise and a hope that you will return to bring your children home with you. I give thanks to you for you are good. I praise You with all the ability that you have given me to worship with a true heart. O, my heart is overwhelmed by Your goodness and mercies. Thank you for this day you have created for me. Thank you for another day to learn and to grow in a right relationship with you. Thank you for giving of Your Son, Jesus Christ, to take away my sin and all of the whole world past present and future. It is in the name of Jesus I pray, amen.
