How Great a Love

He Cares for You

Why are we anxious about the things we have no control over? Is not God's work able to do all things through his mighty power? Is not his work within us able to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. (Ephesians 3:20 NLT)? Our heavenly Father knows what we have need of. How vast beyond all measure His love is. Even the birds of the air and the flowers of the field have been cared for by his great hand. Are we not much more than they (Matthew 6:26 ESV)? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? (v. 27)?

Come to Him, Oh, Come to Him. When we are weighed down with the cares of this world he has called us to come. Matthew 11:29-30 NLT states:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
Lord, I come to you with a humble heart. I come to you with a heart that is broken for those that I love who are suffering greatly. May you place your loving hands around them. Give us your strength to continue this race in which you have placed before us for sometimes it seems more than we can carry. Thank you for taking our burdens and and giving us your rest. Thank you for your gentle heart toward those you love. My soul finds rest in you. My soul takes comfort in your word. Thank you for Jesus Christ who carried the sins of the world on his shoulders that we might find that rest for our souls. Rest that only you can provide. It is in Jesus precious name I pray, amen
