I Am Alive!

Because He Lives!

Because Jesus Christ lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, I am alive! Christ Jesus has made me his own by the cross. Let us hold true to what we have attained (Philippians 3:12, 16). Let us press on to obtain the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (v.14). This is the promise that he has given to us by His Word. When we come to the cross with a repentant heart that seeks forgiveness, He will take our sin and give us his righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21) Because Jesus Christ lives, I can face the giants in my life with confidence. I can take hold of the life that he has given me and live with peace and joy in my heart even when darkness surrounds me on all sides.  Because He lives, I am alive!


Lord, thank you for giving me the strength to continue to run the race with endurance. To finish well, with you as the prize. Thank you for sending your Son so that I may come to you with a repentant heart. Come into my live, Lord, and make me whole. Restore in me a clean heart. Thank you for being the God of second chances. The One true God! The God that created the universe and everything in it. Thank you for seeking the lost! Help us to have ears to listen. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
