We Must Know the Truth

For in those days there will be such tribulation as has not been from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, and never will be. And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days. And then if anyone says to you, Look, here is the Christ! or Look, there he is! do not believe it! for false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray if possible, the elect. But be on guard, I have told you all things beforehand (Mark 13:14-23)

Mark gave Christians the command to be on guard. Keep your eyes open to the times. Be careful not to stray from the truth and believe the lies of this age. For even, if possible, the elect should be lead astray by the false christs and false prophets. Stay in God's Word and hide it in your hearts. Live righteously. seeking God and His truth. 

Lord, thank you for seeking after me. Thank you for opening our eyes to see your wonderful works. Thank you for your Words of Truth in Scripture. May we stay alert knowing how to discern the truth from the lies of this age. We ask that you give us the wisdom we need to stand firm on your foundation. Thank you for loving me and sending Your Son to die my death on the cross. It is Jesus precious name I pray. Amen.
