Made New

Free From Sin

​Christ Jesus has set me free from the debt of my sin and has washed me clean. He has made me righteous through his blood and I can now stand before the LORD with confidence. His robe covers me and I am made new. Ponder for a moment what Galatians 2:20 states: "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. When a person trusts in Christ for salvation, he spiritually participates with the Lord in his crucifixion and his victory over sin and death. As a believer in Christ Jesus we now have his indwelling power in our lives. 

Lord, I come to you today with a humble heart and ask that you forgive my sin. Forgive me when I grow anxious because of the world around me. You are in full control. My life is in your hands. Thank you for making me new. Thank you for loving me and giving me the strength for this life that you have given to me. For it is you who lives in me.  It is by you and for you that I can do all things. You have made me glad and my heart gives you praise. May all I do today give you glory. May it be to you a pleasing sound and a sweet aroma. It is in Jesus precious name I pray. Amen
