"No Other"

The LORD, the Only Savior

"For thus says the LORD, who created the heavens (He is God!), who formed the earth and made it (he established it; he did not create it empty, he formed it to be inhabited!): I am the LORD and there is no other. I did not speak in secret, in a land of darkness; I did not say to the offspring of Jacob, "Seek me in vain". Isaiah 45: 18-19) 

When we seek after God, the one true God, it is not in vain. When we seek after the one true God, who has not been created by human hands, we shall find him. He is unlike the false gods created by man's hands whom have no ears to hear, no heart to love nor emotions feel. They have no knowledge. They are empty and hollow. Thus, cannot save us from our sin. 

Lord, thank you for being our one true God. Thank you for being faithful and true. Thank you for speaking the truth and declaring what is right. I thank you for Jesus Christ who saved me from my sin on the cross. For he bore all my sin and shame on his shoulders. My sin has been cast as far as the east is to the west. I pray for those who may not know you and have a personal relationship with you. I pray they lay down at the foot of the cross all of the empty idols they are chasing after to give them a sense of fulfillment in this life. For they cannot save. I ask that you open our eyes to the things you would have us to see in your word. For you are our all and all. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
