Heeding Instruction

The Path to Life

Proverbs 10:17 states: Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but he who rejects reproof leads others astray. Need God's Word to say any more? Simply put, whoever listens and obeys, whoever hears the warnings in Scripture is on the path to life. May we lead others to do the same. 

LORD, we come to you today with a humble and contrite heart. Please forgive my sin against you. May what I do and say today be a pleasing aroma to you. May I seek the path of life and encourage others to do the same. Thank you for your Words of truth and life. For it is in you that we find eternal life. Thank you for dying in my place on the cross of Calvary. Thank you for carrying my sin as far as the east is from the west. It is in Jesus precious name I pray. Amen.
