The Heart of The Message of Salvation

What other religion has a savior who claimed to be both God and man in the same person? This question is the heart of the message of salvation in Christianity. 

​There has been much debate around Jesus claim of being both God and man. However, one must take the Holy Bible as God's Word written and inspired by God himself as truth. It is belief in the Word of God (John 1:1) and through Him, the God-Man, that we have life eternal. This is the essence of our salvation. Believing in the Lord Jesus. Believing that he is both God and man, for his very name, Lord Jesus, means God-Man.  Romans 10:9 states; "If you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved".  It further states: "Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame" (Romans 10:11). 

​The heart of the message of salvation is believing and confessing that the Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man.

Thank you Lord Jesus for being God and Man, Savior for all of humanity. I pray that those around me who are struggling to believe that you are both God and man in one person come to a saving faith in you. It is in your precious and matchless name I pray, Amen.
