Pressing On

Learning to be content in every situation.

I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through him who strengthens me. ( Philippians 4:10-13)

It's hard to be content in every situation, but Paul knew how to be content from his own experiences. He said earlier in Philippians 3:12, " I press on", Why? "Because Christ Jesus has made me his own." And again in 3:14, "I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Let this be of encouragement to you today. Keep pressing on even when your worn down from the challenges of life.
