Rooting Out Unrighteousness

Asking God to Search Our Hearts

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting! (Psalm 139: 23-24) David invited God to continue to search his heart to see if there be any unrighteousness in him. Have we asked God to do the same for us lately? Have we asked God to prove and try our hearts and minds to root out any unrighteousness? (Psalm 26: 2) 

Lord, you know our hearts and minds. You know before a word is ever spoken what our hearts desire is.  Search me and help me to root out any unrighteousness within me. For it is you Lord God that I seek after. In Jesus name I pray. Amen
