Taste and See

The Graciousness of God

"Oh taste and see that the LORD is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! (Psalm 34:8-9) As believers we can experience the goodness and graciousness of God. It is this grace that should compel us to seek and to taste of his word even more. For he is our living cornerstone and firm foundation. "Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation-if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is good. (1 Peter 1:2-3) It is this craving for spiritual growth that brings delight to the soul. And again, "O taste and see that the LORD is good! (v8)
