He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will grant to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God (Revelation 2:7).
True believers enjoy the promise of heaven. And to be an overcomer, by John's definition, one is to be a Christian. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (I John 5:4-5).
Lord, I come to you with a humbled heart. I come to you with my heart full. Your Word lifts my spirit and renews my soul. For the one who has and ear will hear your call. We will hear your promises for those whom believe that you are the Son of God. May we bow before you and ask for forgiveness when we sin and fall short of your glory. We lift our voice in prayer to You. May it be a pleasing sound to your ears. May all that I do be pleasing to you this day for tomorrow is not promised. I pray for my family, friends, and those around me to hear the call on their lives to turn to You. While it is called today, turn and repent. To ask you into their hearts and be their Lord and Savior. It is in Jesus name I pray, amen.
