Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all (2 Thessalonians 3:16). The Apostle Paul knew that this characteristic of God would be most meaningful to reflect upon in the light of the intense spiritual battle that raged around the Thessalonians. As we pursue peace in our lives let us find rest in the Word of God. He is peace, He is comfort, He is our strength in every way.
The path of peace is a precious one. There you hear the promise of God's presence, you find hope and assurance that there is still more peace to he had in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. May you go out today with full assurance of where your hope and peace comes from. May the God of peace Himself fill you with all peace at all times and in every way.
Lord, I come to you with a humble heart and thanksgiving on my lips. I come to you in awe of your words of comfort. My very soul finds serenity within you. May heart swells within me to know there are still more promises of peace to be had in you. Thank you for Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior who gave himself once and for all and for all. I pray for those around me that do not know you as their Lord and Savior to come to you today. I pray their eyes to open and realize that we are all sinners in need of redemption and confess those sins to you. Oh, come and believe and find peace for your soul. It is in Jesus name I pray, amen.
