Romans 10:8-13 states: "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. for the Scripture says, Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him. For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Lord, I come to you with a humble heart. I thank you for the grace poured out on each and every one of us. You have brought salvation to all who will believe in you. Jesus, you are the Son of God. You are Lord and Savior of our lives. Right now we confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts that you are our Lord and Savior and that God has raised You, Jesus, from the dead. My heart is overwhelmed by your great love for us. It is by your stripes we are healed. It is by grace we have been saved from eternal separation from you. Thank you for being the Good Shepherd. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for loving all of man and guiding us in the way of everlasting. You uphold my soul and give me strength to carry on in this live. May all that I do point to you. May the words of my mouth glorify you. May our prayer be a pleasing sound to your ears and a sweet aroma to your nostrils as we lift our voices in prayer to you. It is in Jesus precious name I pray, amen.
