Why not respond tomorrow?
When the devil whispers: "Do it later", or "Why not respond tomorrow?', we must reply: 'No, today as I have heard His voice, I will not harden my heart'. Yes, it will be challenging and often uncomfortable to listen and obey, but the rewards for being obedient to God's Word will so richly fill our lives and our descendants after us. In Deuteronomy 30:6, Moses appealed so urgently for a response 'today' and holds before them the promise that: 'The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul, and live'. We must cry out to God to work in us again while it is still called today.
