Transformed Into His Image

A Christians life should be a reflection of Christ. As His children, we should reflect the Father through His Son for all to see. Jesus' work on the cross made it possible to have open communion with God. The veil was ripped from top to bottom and as believers of the New Covenant have nothing obstructing our vision of Christ and his glory revealed in Scripture. Paul, in the book of 2 Corinthians 3:18, spoke these words; "And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another." As we behold, reflect, and gaze at the glory of the Lord, believers are continually being transformed into Christlikeness. The more we grow in the knowledge of Christ, the more he is revealed in our lives and are being transformed into his image.

LORD, thank you for splitting the veil of separation so that we may have a one-on-one relationship with you.  You are a loving God who gives us the freedom to come to you personally with a humble heart of prayer. Thank you for listening to us and interceding for us when we do not know what to pray for. Help us to be a reflection of you to the world. Thank you for saving humanity from sin by your work on the cross. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
