You Are Not Your Own

We were bought for a very expensive price. Jesus Christ had to give his own life on the cross shedding his own blood to purchase us from eternal separation from God and his wrath. 

For some had  given themselves over to every conceivable sin.
However, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 states: Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. The Word of God brings transforming truth to our lives and sets us free from sin. 

LORD, I come to you with a humble heart. Forgive us where we may have sinned and fallen short of your glory. Thank you for taking my place on the cross. For it is by your stripes that I am healed. I have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. The life I now live, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. May I glorify You in all that I do. It is in Jesus precious name I pray.
