When We Are Trying to Understand God's Ways

When we suffer as Christians do not be surprised. We need to step back and evaluate its cause and entrust it to God. As a Christian, we must not think that his persecution is something that happened accidentally, but expect it. For God allowed it and designed it for the believer's testing, purging, and cleansing. So do not be discouraged, thou for a little while we face various trials. The genuineness of our faith is much more precious than gold that has been tested by fire. (1 Peter 1:6-9) 

In 1 Peter 4: 12-14, Peter explains that there are four attitudes necessary in order to be triumphant in persecution;

• Expect it
• Rejoice in it 
• Evaluate its cause
• Entrust it to God

"Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good". (1 Peter 4:19)
