When Connection is Down

When our WiFi is down we lose the ability to connect to the world around us. So much of what we do relies on the ability to reach around the globe via internet connection. Without it we are in the dark. Just stop for a moment and think about all of the things we do each day that requires us to have a good connection. My WiFi has been down for several weeks waiting on a new modem. I found out just how much I rely on it. However, there is a connection that never lets us down. He is always there and waiting for us to connect with him through prayer. His name is Jesus Christ. He will never leave us in the dark. May we continually seek after Him! 1 Chronicles 16:11 tells us to "Seek the Lord and his strength; seek his presence continually!"

Lord, help us to remember to turn off all the noise that takes first place in our lives and remember that you are first and foremost the most important person in our lives. You hold our life in your hands. You are good! You are merciful! You will never leave us nor forsake us. Thank you for always being there even when I forget to connect with you. Thank you for loving me and forgiving me of my sin. May we seek after you continually. It is in the precious name of Jesus I pray. Amen
