With His Shield

He Will Cover Us

What a blessing it is to know that our LORD will cover us with his shield. He will bless the righteous and cover him with favor.
Psalm 5:12 states: For you bless the righteous, O Lord; you cover him with favor and with a shield. 

LORD, I come to you with a humble heart. Thank you for Your Word that is a lamp to my feet and light to my path. For You will guide and direct my goings. May my heart be tuned to the Holy Spirit so that I may discern what is true and faithful. I know that I can trust in You for you cover the righteous with your favor. You cover us with your shield. Lead me in the way of righteousness for Your names' sake and make your way straight before me. It is in Jesus precious name I pray, amen.
